How We Work (So Your Content Actually Does Too)

We’re not just here to take photos or roll on video. We’re here to help your content do something - spark attention, drive reach, land a message, and keep your brand top of mind well after the drinks stop flowing.
At MISC, we don’t believe in passive coverage. We think strategically, shoot with intention, and cut with purpose so you walk away with content that’s made to move. Here’s how we make that happen:
- Discovery & Briefing
- Pre-Production
- Run Sheet & Crew Planning
- Early Arrival & On-Ground Briefing
- Editing & Turnaround
- Revisions & Shaping the Story
- Event Content & Social Strategy
1. Discovery & Briefing
Before anything is booked in, we like to understand your world. That means a short discovery call or briefing doc to get aligned on your goals, vision, audience, and expectations. Are we creating fast-turnaround reels? Hero footage? Evergreen content? Once we’re clear on where this content is going and why, everything else falls into place.
2. Pre-Production
If the shoot calls for it, we’ll schedule a pre-production call. This is where we dig into the details - what you need captured, how you want the content to feel, and how it’ll be used.
Not every shoot needs a deep dive, but when it does, this is where we ask the right questions and solve potential problems before we’re on the ground.
3. Run Sheet & Crew Planning
The run sheet isn’t just a schedule. It’s the blueprint for how we approach the day.
It tells us what gear to bring, what kind of crew we’ll need, and how we need to move to capture what matters. It sculpts the tone and structure of the final edit and helps future-proof your content for success.
Events move fast. Moments appear and disappear in a second. The run sheet keeps us in the right place, at the right time, for the right shot.
4. Early Arrival & On-Ground Briefing
We always aim to arrive ahead of schedule. This gives us time to set up, assess lighting and sound conditions, and run through any last-minute updates.
Things change. Clients run late. Timings shift. Arriving early gives us room to breathe and time to get on the same page with your team before the action kicks off.
5. Editing & Turnaround
We work fast, but we also work smart. Same-day or next-day edits are available if needed, but they come with an express rate due to the intensity of the turnaround.
Typically, we’ll deliver a hero edit, formatted for social, plus any additional reels or stills depending on the scope. Our delivery timelines are clear upfront, and we’ll always aim to meet your publishing schedule without compromising the result.
6. Revisions & Shaping the Story
Every video includes at least three rounds of revisions.
Why? Because events are unpredictable. Unsanitised, unscripted things happen. The first draft is often just the shape - the revisions help us sculpt it into the story you want to tell.
Need more than three? No problem. Extra revisions can be negotiated based on scope.
7. Event Content & Social Strategy
We’re not just here to shoot what happens. We’re here to make it perform.
We can help advise how your content can be staggered, sequenced, and posted across your social channels post-event. From your first Reel drop to your final behind-the-scenes cutdown, we think in terms of how to stretch one shoot into weeks of content.
Whether you’re reporting back to clients, building hype, or feeding the feed, we’re here to make sure your content actually works.
Most event content gets made, posted, then forgotten.
We don’t work like that.
We plan with intention, shoot for multiple uses, and cut with longevity in mind.
Because strong content shouldn’t just fill a feed - it should keep working well after the event ends.
